Summer Camps in Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge Ontario
The Flying Dance Company hosts Guelph's Summer Dance Camp Program for girls and boys aged 6-12 years. No dance experience is required
In the Summer of 2007, the Flying Dance Company hosted its first Kids Summer Dance Camp in Guelph, Ontario. During this Day Camp, we explored music from around the world, then danced and made crafts from as far away places in Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
Every year since, our Guelph Summer Camp adds on new fun activities that keep its participants active all day, making it a 'Must' for many kids. Our mission is to open the young minds that come to our camp to the different cultures around us, to give them an opportunity to experience and learn something new, something fun, thus building on their curiousity and imagination. Because of our uniquness, we have kids coming from the Kitchener-Waterloo Area (K/W area), Cambridge Ontario, Fergus, Rockwood, Acton, even as far away as Hamilton Ontario attending.
We are looking forward to having a great time and can’t wait to see you all!

This year (2013), among the many fun activities we will be doing, we are very excited to introduce our new camp leader, Alexandra Lent. She is the founder and director of "To Be Determined Theatre Company", a local theatre company that focuses on kids. She will be involved in developing a new summer camp program that incorporates dance, theatre, games, arts and craft and hopefully by the end of each week, the kids would act and dance out what they did all week long for their parents and/or guardians.
We will also host Zoe the Clown. She will be teaching the kids what makes a clown a clown, followed by some active dance movement 'Clown Style'. Depending on the weather, we will always go outside to play games (soccer), have our lunch outdoors or participate in lots of downtown activities that the city of Guelph offers.
There is no doubt that this will be a camp that no one will want to miss. See you on the dance floor!
